The Godan Certified Penetration Tester course represents the pinnacle of professional penetration testing, and concentrates on dissecting and creating application exploits. Students must have successfully completed the Yondan Certified Penetration Tester course before they can attend the 5DCPT course. The course covers the following topics:

• Malware Analysis Lab Configuration
• Assembly Code Concepts
• Reverse-Engineering Malware
• Identify and Exploit Buffer Overflows
• Circumvention of Access Restrictions

By the end of the course, the student will be able to dissect and create their own remote and local application exploits. Successful completion of the course includes the student providing a workable exploit against a provided target application.

This course is available only through online access, and requires the student to have a fast Internet connection to view the videos. The student should also have a reasonable familiarity with the Linux operating system and programming to complete this course.

Cost for this course is $4995, and includes the following:

• A copy of the Professional Penetration Testing book, published by Syngress
• Laptop, preloaded with all course material, videos, and penetration testing tools
• Target Server, preloaded with course material
• Additional publications needed to understand reverse engineering and assembly
